We are officially announcing our Fall Musical: Godspell! On the auditions page you will find important information about regstration for the show. If you are interested in volunteering in other ways please use the volunteer page to contact us about ways you would like to get involved. We have plenty of opportunities to be a part of our shows, so don’t delay as most positions are first come first volunteer!
Cast: We are looking for 20-25 actors of ALL ages (9-60) to perform in our modern day production, however we are only seeking 4 actors between ages 9-17. No one under 9 years of age should sign-up to audition and this is your advance notice that we are only seeking four youth, and may opt to cast fewer than four at the director’s discretion.
Please prepare a short monologue or a musical theatre song (not to exceed 3 mins) or both. If you are auditioning to be in the show, it must be proven in the audition that you can sing on pitch with others. You may audition for singing solo parts or you may audition for speaking parts if that is your desire (or both). Please bring your sheet music to the audition. An accompanist will be provided. Please do not audition on any songs or material from the show.
Callbacks: are Weds. Aug. 10th 6-9 p.m. at invitation only.
*Sides will be available for Callbacks
Rehearsals: are Tues. Sept 6th – Thurs. Oct. 27th.
Rehearsals are Tuesday’s Friday’s and Sunday’s until Oct. 16th, and then Sunday through Friday Oct. 16th-Oct. 27th.
Marketing: all cast members will be asked to help hang posters in local areas and businesses to help spread the word about our shows. It is vitally important to our program that the cast help with this in order to have the maximum reach and attendance possible.
Performances: are Oct 28/29/30 and Nov 4/5/6 with a pick-up rehearsal on Thurs. Nov 3rd.
Strike: will be immediately following the final performance, and all cast and crew are expected to be there to help until strike is finished or you are dismissed.
Thank you for your interest in being a part of our family here at St. Luke’s Theatre Company.
